Here's a little about my story
Trish Jackson
Hi I'm Trish, Welcome to my page.
I'm a Kiwi who has lived and worked in London for the last 17 years. I have worked in the Heath & Social care industry for 36yrs. Although my work was rewarding, knowing all the people it was helping, the hours were relentless, with my on-call phone never off. The constant pressure and stress compromised my health, social life and general well being, so I decided to quit my job and travel. I knew there had to be more to life.
Travelling the world was a dream I’d had before having my 4 daughters and now that they are all grown (some with children of their own) I am following my passion of global travel; new experiences and volunteering my help on a global scale in different countries. I have explored Russian Palaces, been hiking in Nepal and volunteering in India and there is still so much to explore. My life is so enriched being able to do this! The freedom is exhilarating.
Most recently I have spent time in Australia & New Zealand with my children, grandchildren and family without time restrictions to ‘return to work’. When it came to consider “where next” in my career path there was only one answer.
It is wonderful to be able to enjoy travelling with a portable business that never misses a beat. Here I am at "Peterhoff Palace" in St Peterburg, Russia.
Having the time and resources to give back to the global community is such a privilege and so rewarding. I came across this charming creature at the Animal hospital not far from Puskar in India.
My work life balance means I am able to chose when I work and when I play. Here I am in New Zealand, I love having fun with my family around the world with no time restrictions.
Embracing and enjoying life! It was an honour to be able to attend Buckingham Palace Garden party in London on a week day. Flexible hours make these opportunities possible.
